Today we have Ana Martinez, a longtime educator, and friend, on the show. She was the first in her family to attend college and as a proud Latinx professional she pours so much of her heart into improving the lives of so many through equitable education.
Ana has a long history as an educator in Los Angeles in both public schools and charter schools. We invited Ana to the podcast because we want our listeners who may be thinking of a career in education to learn about her journey and the way she took her role to the next level during the pandemic.
Ana has accomplished so much in the field of education quickly rising to the ranks as a successful teacher, dean (at only 24 years old), assistant principal, principal, chief of staff, and now a chief academic officer. She's an academic CEO and her words will have you feeling all the feels full of wisdom, inspiration, and so much love.

You know it's a great episode if it ends up longer than an hour. Truth be told when girlfriends get to talking about the importance of mental health and therapy we just can't stop! Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Evelin Lemus, of Honor All Women Counseling shares her whole heart discussing her extensive expertise across many scopes of mental health support including women and children, families and parenting, as well as drug abuse and addiction. This episode felt heavy and light all at once as we personally went all in opening up. We hope you'll listen and open your hearts too as we inspire women to process and grow through their own journeys of self-discovery and in the pursuit of improved mental health and healing! More important, if you or someone you know is struggling with addiction or strained mental health, this episode includes resources to assist those in desperate need of recovery.
